Neath Bingo Hall To Turn Into Dust and Rubbles

Bing lovers in the South Wales are definitely not happy these days. And, the reason behind is the demolition of a former Neath Bingo Hall. Yes, the Empire Bingo located in The Ropewalk, will soon be turned into dust and rubbles. The old bingo hall may be replaced with twelve new flats. All the flats will be used for the purpose of social rent and accommodation. In this regard, the Coastal Housing has put forward an application to the Neath Port Talbot Council. The project also includes space for car parking and for landscaping as well.

Without a doubt, it was quite heart wrenching for the residents of The Ropewalk when they came across the sad news in the year 2010. It was not only a bingo hall for them, but also a place for social gatherings and shared each other’s experience about the game and their happiness as well. It was in the month of February, 2010 when the bingo hall was closed. On the other hand, one of the directors at Coastal Housing, Gerraint Oakley, expressed his exciting about the new project and said that the development would help in the improvement of the area as well.
